An event at the presidential residence
As the saying goes, appearances are often deceiving, which is also true of the name of the event we will be attending with MyCello in September. The Bürgerfest is not a burger and food festival, but a summer civic festival hosted by the Federal President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, where volunteer institutions and individuals meet and present themselves. The importance of the event is reflected in the fact that the President himself regularly attends the event, which is held at his Bellevue residence.
We are participating in the event with the MyCello project at the invitation of the Czech Embassy in Germany; in addition to us, Prusa Research will also present 3D printing technology. One of the authors of the project, Jan Tobolík, will be attending the event on behalf of the MyCello team, accompanied by the young promising cellist Eliška Mořkovská. Thanks to her, you will be able to stroll through the beautiful surroundings of the palace accompanied by the sound of music. Our colleague Jana Štěpaníková will guide you through the entire entry as a moderator and conference presenter.
Entertainment for children and adults
The programme of the event is really varied and all ages will find something to enjoy. You can look forward to a cooking show, music and dance performances, sports activities, prize competitions and, last but not least, tours of the palace. More information about the programme can be found here.
About the event
The event takes place on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11am to 7pm at Bellevue Palace, where the President resides. Admission to the event is free, but advance registration is required.
